Description
This is a length of small intestine, reddened, and showing a patchy inflammatory exudate centred
around a nodular area some 5 cm. across. The diverticulum has been opened to display a hard
nodule of inspissated material.
History
This man presented with pain, radiating transversely at the umbilical region.
